Apply 1/4-inch continuous line (bead) of LIQUID NAILS Subfloor & Deck Construction Adhesive (LN-902) to the framing/stringers before nailing and screwing in the steps.
In order to accommodate the increased movement between skirting, baseboards, and fascia boards, use LIQUID NAILS Fuze*It All Surface Construction Adhesive (LN-2000). Apply a 1/4-inch bead of adhesive to each framing piece prior to installation with nails or screws.
For railings, use LIQUID NAILS Subfloor & Deck Construction Adhesive with nails and screws to provide better long-term durability.
For decorative caps and trim, use LIQUID NAILS Fuze*It All Surface Construction Adhesive to minimize the need to use fasteners. When building a deck using any of these construction adhesives, you can achieve a sturdier deck with no squeaky boards, and you won’t need as many nails leading to less dangerous nails popping.
